Blessed Hope Community Church is a non-denominational Christian church. Pastor Linda Wurzbacher, her husband John and son John established the church in September of 2002. The church takes its name from the Book of Titus in the New Testament, where Jesus is called Blessed Hope. The first meetings of Blessed Hope Community Church were held at the Harmony House in the village of Webster. In the Fall of 2005, Blessed Hope Community Church needed more space and moved its services to Spry Middle School. In 2007 on Palm Sunday, the church began holding services at AMC theater on Empire Blvd and rebranded the church as “Church at the Movies”. The church began experiencing significant growth after the theater was renovated in spring of 2013. A second worship service was added in the fall of 2015. In the fall of 2016, Blessed Hope Community Church added a live video system to enhance service and make it possible for people to watch online in HD.

Blessed Hope Community Church has partnered with Foodlink and has participated in many food distributions events at Phillips Village in Webster. They have partnered with Hope House in the village of Webster and have given away hundreds of coats to families in need. The church has supported an orphanage in Kenya Rehema Home [Rehema means Mercy in Swahili]. In addition to providing financial support to the orphanage, the church has partnered with other local churches to organize fundraisers and awareness events.
